Cooperation along the East Atlantic Flyway deepened in workshop on key threats and possible solutions

The Wadden Sea Flyway Initiative and its partners invited representatives from 15 flyway countries to a workshop in Dakar, Senegal, in July 2023. The aim was to discuss the key threats and possible solutions for migratory waterbird conservation along the East Atlantic Flyway.

CWSS-Oris partnership: Second Wadden Sea watch introduced at joint event on Fanø

The Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS) announced the renewal of the partnership with the Swiss watch manufacturer Oris at this year’s annual event themed “Change for the better” that took place on the Danish Wadden Sea island of Fanø on the 11 to 14 August.

Within the North German initiative "Norddeutsch und Nachhaltig - Mit Bildung Zukunft sichern" (NuN), the International Wadden Sea School (IWSS) has been re-certified as "Bildungspartner für Nachhaltigkeit" (educational partner for sustainable development).
